Apparently we had a paltry 6% voter turnout in yesterday’s primary. But that 6% figure doesn’t tell nearly the whole story — check out that link above. There were several precincts which saw well over 10% turnout (a handful that were between 20 and 40%) and one with a paltry 0.89%, in a district with 1,011 registered voters! Are those all real people and only 9 of them decided to show up? Hopefully the state board of elections is already auditing all of the voter registrations, especially the more recent ones.
