“Covering uninsured not top priority of health reform”

Oh? I thought that’s what this was all about — that’s why it’s so important that legislation be passed immediately.  Apparently, the bill should focus on “cost containment.” This according to Mike Ross, a leading Blue Dog Democrat I should think that government-mandated cost containment of activities within the private sector would lead to rationing, wouldn’t you?  Is it legal for the government to demand rationing of goods/services in the private sector?  I know they did it during WWII — what is the justification now?  This gets scarier by the minute, although every day a little more of the true rationale behind the massive effort to push this through comes out….
